Kitchen 5

This project in a beautifully restored cottage involved a relocation of the existing kitchen which was very small to a larger, open space to accommodate the owners love of cooking. High on the priorities were lots of bench space and also as much storage as possible. The storage was created by a large walk in pantry to the left of the kitchen incorporating both open shelf storage units and benchtop space for small appliances to be used out of sight. The beauty when entertaining, a place for items to be stored and shut behind the doors. The kitchen features a large peninsular bench to comfortably seat four, great for entertaining out of the cooks immediate zone but close enough to share a drink and chat. The former kitchen was given a new lease of life as the new dining room and the open space completely converted to a lovely, functional space leading to the outdoor entertaining area and garden for this busy family. Bench top is Caesarstone Osprey with cabinetry in Polyurethane in Dulux Vivid White, satin finish.
