After admiring a friend’s new kitchen, Liz Grimmett was recommended to us as a ‘must use’ designer for our upcoming renovation. We involved Liz in our plans right from the start and her skills were obvious from the very beginning. She helped us with everything from lighting, to colours, to the practical and functional parts of kitchen design. Her advice around componentry was invaluable and helped us to spend money on key areas and save on others. But the plans were just the beginning. Liz supervised the cabinet maker throughout the whole building process and her keen eye for detail could tell when he was straying from the plan. A few words of guidance from her and the plans were back on track. When the kitchen was finished, everything was as we had imagined. There was nothing that hadn’t been thought of and the end result was one of beauty to the eye and a chefs dream of functionality.
